Description
VF860P Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer is in white to light pink powder form. It is a high-performance powder superplasticizer / water-reducing agent featuring ultra-high water reduction and good slump retention. VF860P is applicable in various cementitious mortar systems, particularly gypsum-based binder systems and Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) systems. It imparts excellent workability and fluidity to mortar products, significantly enhancing material quality. The product demonstrates broad adaptability and can be used concurrently with other additives in mortar production—such as early strength agents, retarders, polymer powders, and defoamers—without negatively impacting other mortar properties.
Characteristics / Advantages
High Water Reduction: Enables the system to achieve higher density and strength.
Superior Heat Resistance: Demonstrates excellent adaptability and stability in high-temperature environments.
Excellent Gypsum Adaptability: Provides outstanding dispersion in various gypsum types (e.g., FGD gypsum, phosphogypsum) and adapts well to different aging stages.
System Versatility: Suitable for various gypsum-based self-leveling systems, including pure gypsum, gypsum + cement, and gypsum + hydrated lime.
Performance Enhancement: Improves early and ultimate strength while optimizing shrinkage and creep properties.
Rapid Dispersion: Reduces mixing time, performing excellently even in low water-binder ratio systems like UHPC.
Uses
A high-performance powder-based polycarboxylate superplasticizer, appearing as a white to light pink water-soluble powder. This product is widely used in both gypsum-based and cement-based cementitious systems. Specific applications include:
Gypsum-based Building Materials:
Gypsum self-leveling, gypsum-based precast elements, etc.
Cement-based Building Materials:
UHPC (Ultra-High Performance Concrete), RPC (Reactive Powder Concrete), grouts, pressure grouting materials (agents), self-leveling, repair mortars, etc.
Product Information

Application Information
Recommended Dosage: The typical dosage is 0.1% to 0.5% of the cementitious material weight. Actual dosage should be determined through trial mixes.
Usage: It must be mixed uniformly with dry powder materials.
Packaging, Storage & Transportation
Packaging: 25Kg plastic woven bags.
Storage: Store in a cool and dry place at 5℃ to 35℃, avoid heavy pressure to prevent caking, especially in high-temperature environments. Lumps that can be broken apart do not affect performance. Shelf life is 12 months.
